About
The Grapefruit Diet is my answer to fad and crash diets. I personally believe that this approach to weight loss is flawed. I work out regularly and I know that unless I am already in great shape, it is impossible to get a beach body in 4 weeks. It is the exact same thing with weight loss. If you are a fatty and want to shed some excess pounds I encourage you to think health and long term not fast and weight loss. Loosing weight quickly in most cases is not good for health nor is it sustainable. A short term “diet” may well make it possible to loose 10 pounds in a month. But what happens when you come off the “diet”?
I chose to attack the grapefruit diet simply because I love grapefruit and it frustrates me that my beloved citrus fruit is being used to promote what I consider to be a phoney weight loss program. I certainly imagine weight loss is possible following the “grapefruit diet”. However it is the food we eat 365 days a year, not just 12 days, and the exercise we take that is going to have the most effect upon our health, energy levels, vitality and weight.
Forget the grapefruit diet, but don’t forget grapefruit.
